Breakaway Music Festival

concept and clothing design for Breakaway Music Festival 2023 in collaboration with Nashville based clothing & sneaker boutique FORTS. the theme for this collection was entitled “Leave It All Behind”. to start, we compiled various graphic elements that contained an overall essence of leaving or letting go. while the client is a music festival taking place during the summer, the goal was to concept a cohesive street-wear style collection as something bigger than your average festival merch. with no prior direction, we were able to navigate and accomplish this with the usage of cohesive symbolism, typography, and color palette. throughout the collection we gave strong emphasis to the gothic typeface “B” icon and the vintage duffel bag illustration as a way to tie together the overarching theme of the collection.
